~naughty ~naughty ~naughty if you didnt buy 2 because they do not give discounts!! dAIWA have already had problems with this on other sites cheers -
11/03/2008 at 7:06 pm #72859
TF_bagging machineParticipantIt wasnt daiwa that gave me the discount it was a local tackle dealer and yes you are right some shops have been in trouble for selling below £2999.99 and have lost their account with daiwa, but its not what you know its who you know and somebody will get a bargain probably the cheapest new Airity in the country?

24/03/2008 at 9:24 pm #73347
TF_C.A.T.C.H.Participantpiperpilot,
Got to agree with the Preston GXR 2000 but not sure about the Garbo G8 though.
Tried it didnt like it, GXR was very nearly as good if not better. Cheaper as well.

TF_bagging machineParticipantDont believe people are down grading from flagship poles to mid range poles for one miniute, arn’t preston now made by reglass (maver)?
-
28/03/2008 at 8:17 pm #73443
TF_piperpilotPersonally I’m sick and tired of being told by manufacturers that this years pole is better then last years pole and that my pole is now obsolete because it’s been replaced by some short lived ‘super pole’ that itself will be obsolete in less then 12 months. I know not every company does it. Just how better!! can Carbon get as we must have nearly reached the limit of Carbon technology,
-
28/03/2008 at 8:26 pm #73444
AnonymousAgree with Piperpilot,i think we’re at the stage where very little,if any advancement can be achieved to make carbon poles even better than what they are now..The pole technology has just about reached its limit in my opinion.
You’ve only got to take the daiwa tourny pro for example..Most new top end poles produced today are only as good as it,but very few are better. -

TF_Snooty FoxGaz – you are welcome to have a waggle with my G10 at Makins
-
29/03/2008 at 11:45 am #73456
TF_makergive him a waggle snooty, imho its the best out there, stiffest pole on the market, very strong, the best at 16m.

Comes with reciept. -
21/04/2008 at 5:29 pm #73948
TF_poleanglerCome on can not believe this has not been snapped up yet. I doubt you will find another brand new one as cheap anywhere.
Bargain for some one. -
22/04/2008 at 10:04 am #73962
TF_JohnHThe jury is out on if this pole is any better than the pro. So why pay £500 more?
-
22/04/2008 at 5:29 pm #73970
TF_poleanglerWell if your only paying £500 more then a Pro and your getting extra moneys worth of spares that is virtually equal to the difference.
I know which I would buy if I was in the market for one of these.
Forgot to mention when fishing long 16+ these are miles better than a pro just ask anyone who has one. -
23/04/2008 at 6:19 pm #74016
FORDY 1ParticipantEveryone who has a pro say’s it no better than a pro, prob. worse, everyone with Airity say’s loads better than a pro,i’ve never picked a pro up~sick but had a waggle with an Airity and thought they aint bad but quite heavy.
-
23/04/2008 at 8:23 pm #74026
TF_makeri certainly didnt think the airity was heavy? But not quite as stiff as the G10
-
24/04/2008 at 4:24 pm #74037
FORDY 1ParticipantI’m used to an old tourny 410 which is light, compared, but i’ve just ordered an Airity anyway.~clap ~clap

FORDY 1ParticipantAbout 2.5-3 months,1 of my team mates ordered 1 in december and got it in late march~sick
-
25/04/2008 at 8:47 pm #74068
THE ORICALTHE G10 IS A FULL 2FT LONGER THAN THE AIRITY AND THE PRO HAVING REMOVED THE NO 1 OF THE MATCH KITS ON ALL! THE PRO HAS NO ANTI FRICTION ON THE 4 5 6 AND NO CUPPING KIT!! £2000 AND NO CUP KIT IS THIS NOT LIKE SELLING A CAR WITH NO STEERING WHEEL?I AM AWARE OF A SHOP WITH 2 AIRITYS AND HAVE HAD THEM A WHILE .THE EXTRA £500 FOR A SIDE WAYS MOVE IN QUALITY SEEMS BE POINTLESS AND CAN NOT BE JUSTIFIED BY THE INCLUSION OF A CUPPING KIT! CAN YOU HONESLY SAY TO YOUR MATES ONCE YOU’VE BUOGHT AN AIRITY AND WERE RELIEVED OF £2700 THAT YOU WISH YOU HAD KEPT YOUR PRO OR BOUGHT A G10 WITHOUT A BARRAGE OF MICKY TAKING? IT STILL REMANES THAT BOTH PRO AND G10 ARE EXCELLENT POLES BUT THE PERSON THAT DOSE THEIR RESEARCH SHOULD ALWAYS BUY A G10 AND NOT JUST FOR THE CUPPING KIT!!!!!!!!
-
26/04/2008 at 7:07 am #74069
FORDY 1ParticipantBut the Airity cupping kit is much better than the G10 one!
LOL.~clap
-
03/05/2008 at 11:17 am #74221
TF_bagging machineParticipantTook some doing but both are now sold, some of you missed a real bargain, thanks for the interest.
