        Off to Dever springs on Friday. Its my first trouting trip for 10 years. Just dusting off my gear and wondering if anybody has any recent experience of the place? Any info, hints or tips appreciated.

            Jonny O, try e-mail DHP’s fly fishing editor, Steve Cullen on [email protected] or his deputy Ed on [email protected]. They should be able to give you some info.

            My advice would be to dress drab due to the crystal clear water, carry very little so you can move around freely and take loads of bugs for stalking in the edges.

                er I know but I also know that no-one has ever posted on the fly fishing forum so I thought I’d post it on the Coarse one as well so that someone might see it!

                  Hi They are taking May Fly in the evening rise at the moment,during the day a slow sinking line and a hawthorne on the hook is the go Neil
