The fishery has slowed down since the clocks went back with the changeable weather last week also affecting sport. The most consistent pool at the moment is GEARYS with carp to nearly 20lb coming to bomb with PVA bag, Method feeder to the middle stumps and waggler with 8mm pellet have all been catching and pegs 9-13 and 31-36 have been the hotspots. On MOLANDS there have been a few low 20lb fish caught by the guys night fishing with boilies working best fished across to the island or close in down the margins, in the matches nets to around 50lb have been best comprising of mainly F1s with the odd bonus carp and maggot fished down the margin has worked the best. LITTLE GEARYS has been tough all week with nets to 40lb best and maggot or pellet fished short or down the margin has accounted for the better nets. SIBLINGS A has produced nets to 50lb which have been mainly made up with good sized carp up 15lb with maggot fished short or along the margins and dobbing bread the main tactic. On Sibs A ,dobbing bread has accounted for a few carp and the short pole line with maggots has been best for F1s.
