        Hardy & Greys Ltd and Game Fishing Supplies of Morpeth are offering you the chance of a lifetime – a day’s fy fishing with a top celebrity.

        The two companies are joining forces to support and raise money for Grace House North East Children’s Hospice Appeal (Registered Charity Number 1100682) by holding a Celebrity Charity Auction Dinner and Fly Fishing event.

        The Auction Dinner will take place on Friday 17th April 2009 at Longhirst Hall, Morpeth where attendees will be given the chance to bid for a day’s Fly Fishing with various celebrities.

        Celebrities lined up to take part currently include professional angler Charles Jardine, England international rugby player, Jamie Noon, French rugby player, Raphael Ibenez and New Zealand international rugby player, Carl Hayman.

        Some of the celebrity ‘lots’ will be auctioned on eBay, but to launch the event five celebrities will be auctioned exclusively at the charity dinner.

        Those who bid successfully will win the opportunity to fish with one of the celebrities at the Fly Fishing day which will be held on Thursday June 18th 2009 at Sweethope Lough, Northumberland.

        Other items up for auction at the Dinner include a day’s fly fishing with Charles Jardine, a glider flight and a day’s Salmon fishing. A raffle will follow the auction.

        The Fly Fishing event will be held from 9am–4pm and will include breakfast, lunch and a day’s boat fishing with your chosen celebrity.

        The lucky auction winners will also have the chance to win £2000 worth of Hardy & Greys fishing tackle from The Compleat Angler for the largest catch on the day.

        £2000 worth of tackle is also being offered by Game Fishing Supplies to those who collect the most donations for Grace House North East.

        England International and Newcastle Falcons rugby player, Jamie Noon said;

        “Having children myself, I couldn’t imagine how I’d feel if I found that they were very sick, however I know I’d take great comfort from a place like Grace House North East.

        “The support and advice that they can offer can help to make a child both comfortable and content in a home from home environment. This will help families to make the most of their time together.

        “With a cause as worthy as Grace House North East, I’m proud to lend my support.”
