        Rutland Water hosted the Northern heat of the Anglian Water Airflo International on Saturday.

        Twelve teams fished the Northern Heat of this popular competition. The top six teams, headed by Team Vision, will go through to the Northern final. The best fish of the match weighed 3lb 14½oz and was caught by John Buchanan fishing for Iain Barr Fly Fishing Team.

        Garry Owen fishing for Seighford Sharks, caught the best bag at 23lb 14oz. The top six teams were

        1st Team Vision 44 fish for 97lb 14oz
        2nd Greys G-Tec Stocks Team 39 fish for 96lb 15½oz
        3rd Seighford Sharks 40 fish for 92lb 14 7/8oz
        4th Leven Fly Casters 39 fish for 91lb 4 7/8oz
        5th Iain Barr Fly Fishing Team 33 fish for 78lb 6¾oz
        6th Peregrine Fly Fishers 34 fish for 76lb 11¾oz
