        Comments :
        A new season record eight fish bag weight. 36lbs 7ozs to Mr Bob Wallinger of Sharnford, Leicester. Bob caught the eight rainbows drifting between Draycote Dam and Biggin Bay and across the Aerators. His biggest was 8lbs 2ozs and he lost another three double figured fish , one a brown. He also returned a brown of 4lbs 8ozs.
        Mr John Hoskins of Bromsgrove took eight for 31lbs 6ozs and other good limits include 28lbs 4ozs to Mr Lee Patten of Tenbury Wells, 27lbs 12ozs to Mr Keith Embrey, 27lbs 8ozs to Mr Alun Williams, 27lbs 2ozs to Mr Rod Wilson, 26lbs 8ozs to Mr Gary Owen, 26lbs 00ozs to Mr Bob Bett of Rosyth. Some good five fish limits too : 17lbs 8ozs to Mr Don Roper, 18lbs 4ozs to Mr Max Hill, 20lbs 6ozs to Mr Ron Blackwell and 20lbs 8ozs to Mr Terry Holder.
        Best brown was 8lbs 8ozs to Mr Alan Willis, Mr Chris Dawes put one back at 7lbs 8ozs and Mr Sean Hanlon of Rugby took one weighing 5lbs 12ozs.
        Mr Bill Gibson of the Potteries took a rainbow of 8lbs 00ozs and lost another of 10lbs 00ozs. Mr Lee Patten took the week’s best at 9lbs 8ozs, Mr Carl Orhman of Coventry took a 6lbs 12ozs, there was a 6lbs 2ozs to Mr John Ryder, 6lbs 00ozs to Mr Bill Murphy and 6lbs 8ozs to Mr E Noyes.
        Aerators are on. Best areas are Cornfield and Toft for boats. Draycote Dam and Cornfield for the bank. Buzzers, Diawl Bach’s and Montanas best patterns.
