free-drifting with 5 weight rods, and floating line with claret dabbler on the point and a bumble on the dropper.

Fish week 1,453 (season 23,836) returns 387 (5,379) rod average 3.7(4.43)
There are plenty of fish moving on the surface taking insects and pin fry on calm days. The main basin has come into form with fish being taken all the way across and many limits taken, some within 1½ hours.
Best Brown 5lb 8oz taken by S Nicholson of North Ormsby Lincs.
Best boat areas Main basin, bottom of both arms. Lots of fish in open water
Best bank areas Normanton, Sykes Lane, Sailing Club, Old Hall,
the Finches.
Best methods Floating lines with nymphs, dries and mini lures.
Fish feeding on pinfry, buzzers, sedge, snails and daphnia.

Tuesday Evening Boat League
Richard Cooper of Empingham won the fourth week of the competition with eight fish weighing an impressive 20lb 7½oz including a rainbow of 4lb 2½oz that earned Richard an extra two points .
