Gaz, been on peg 68 pool 4 for pleasure session for 4 hours this afternoon, 7 of the 10 pegs on there were taken so just fished pole short and down edge, with a conservative 109lb showing on clicker at 6pm.

Generally and depending on draw it’s feeder tight over with either gb or micros and dead reds on hook, dont sit waiting too long, wind in and reload. Majority of my pole fishing up there and this is my first year has been 5m with corn or paste or flat area in margin you will normally see cut outs in bankside vegetation where members have fished. Margins can be either gb and maggot or pellet and corn.

Tell your mate to feel his way with feed too much and plenty of foulhookers caught my weight today using 3 tins corn pint of hemp and pint of 6mm pellets and was still losing foulhooked fish.

I’m no venue expert but beginning to find my way up there now and starting to catch a few 🙂
