14 Year old Kieran Bonas caught the biggest fish of the week whilst bank fishing last Saturday. Kieran, from Oakley in Bedfordshire, netted a superb conditioned 6lb 2¼oz Rainbow using a midge tip line and a diawl bach.

A good number of fish around the 4-5lb bracket were caught last week with many being taken around the shoreline/weedbeds that are dotted around the reservoir.

Season ticket holders John Maitland and John Wadham, both from Oakham, caught some of the best fish of the week with a 5lb 8oz Rainbow for John Maitland and the best brown of the week at 5lb for John Wadham. Small fry patterns are working with fish feeding on Sticklebacks. However, don’t forget to try a bigger version with some browns feeding on 3â€
