Last week 105 rods caught 337 fish for an average of 3.20.
The changeable weather led to a much quieter week on the fishery but the good form continues.
The Autumn Open competition was held on the bank of Cocks Close on Sunday with the winner Ray Cramp of Coventry catching 12 fish which fell mainly to Cats Whiskers fished on a floating line. Runner up Brian Mason of Sutton Coldfield caught nine fish on similar tactics. The best rainbow of the week was also caught during the match with a fish estimated at 13 – 14lb and this was taken by Craig Smith of Arley who took it on a black Lure on an intermediate line. Roy Stroud of Dorridge caught a 10lb rainbow whilst fishing from the bank of Cocks Close and this came to a black Buzzer on a floating line. Mr Al Pitt of Birmingham caught a 9lb 2oz rainbow again from the bank of Cocks Close and this one came to a Cats Whisker fished on an intermediate line.
