        May 31st – June 6th

68 anglers caught 222 fish of which 105 were returned

        Best Fish
8lb 4oz Phil Robinson, Raunds, black buzzer, boat
7lb 2oz Gene Robinson, Raunds, cruncher, boat

        Best Areas
        Bank – lodge bank
        Boat – deeps, sandbank

        Best Patterns
buzzers, hares ear, cruncher, diawl bach, damsel

Damsels/buzzers hatching during the day. Sedges/buzzers in the evening. Plenty of surface activity although they can be too far out for bank anglers on warmer days.
First sign of trout chasing pin fry this week.
Best method has been a long leader with nymphs or washing line on cloudier days.

Despite the cold N/NE winds buzzers and olives are hatching all over the lake. On warmer days there are good numbers of hawthorn being blown onto the water.
