My 3rd wife is ok about fishing she has the odd grumble if I fish both my days off every week. I have had to put up with some shite over the years though about going fishing all the time and I dont doubt its contributed to relationship breakups. I think im deaf in one ear from all the moaning I have heard. I dont think going fishing once a week is unfair Dan you can have a fishing day then a family day.

My soon to be 2nd wife (2 weeks today to go) has no problems at all with me going fishing. She actually encourages me to go else I sit around moping about the house! She had no problems picking me up or dropping me off fishing when I had no wheels even though it was a 50 mile trip to my old house for her to do so. She actually takes an interest in my fishing as well, asking if she can help with any preparation, or if I need anything picked up etc. She will even come with us to any shows that we go to & gets a little disappointed if there is no room for her in the car or couldn’t get her a ticket! She even nicks my fleeces to wear when she goes out anywhere! Even her 7 year old daughter keeps asking when can she go fishing.
I even suggested as a joke that we should go fishing for the honeymoon, and she agreed to it!!!!!!!

never ever ever ever take em fishing!
and if you really have to take em to the crappest muddiest smelliest midgy infested sh1thole you can think of and make sure its one of there worst experiances ever

My wife actively encourages me to go fishing, she is quite amazing actually in the last year whilst out fishing the house has been rewired, the fence painted, garden done and we have an endless supply of milk ~think ~think

my partner is awesome she lets me go to white acres twice a year and fish every sunday and saturdays if it is a important match eg; maver pairs or fish os.
she also helps prepare my bait and tye hooklengths and rigs couldnt ask for a better one but dont tell her that
