I have had my eyes lasered quite some time ago and although there were companies that did such treatment I actually opted to go to moorfields eye hospital a bit expensive in those days £500 an eye we are talking almost 20 years ago, however I came back with better than 20/20 vision my eyes were very bad 5.6 short sighted blind as a bat without glasses, in those days they would operate on one eye and you had to wait six months before you could have the other eye done, however these days you go in have both eyes done and your ok after a day or two,I had to sit in a darkened room for three days when I had an eye operated on,Obviously there are pitfalls for a couple of weeks I was affected by bright lights and could see two white lines in the road where there was one but slowly all came good, I would say on reflection it is the best thing I ever done, my mates just had his done and his eyes wern’t that bad, as I have said there can be pitfalls but most people come through it OK. Your daughter needs to speak to the specialists who are carrying out the procedure to make an informed decision. In fact now I think about it I fished the div one national on the river thames wearing dark coverall glasses to ptrotect my eyes, can’t have been to bad came 2nd in my section and 20th out of around 900 anglers, however a lost chub cost me the section and a top 12 place doh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
