                Last fished Canal about 2 weeks ago – paste down the track seemed to be the business!

                  Meat across to the far bank works on canal. Never fished the other lakes, sorry, but they are wide; 10ft bomb rod or waggler if 16m plus which most are.

                    There’s much more to this fishery than carp, lots of barbel and chub as well. If they’re really having it you’ll need mostly carp but if it’s harder, or you’re on every peg, then barbel and chub can be worth targeting with lots of hemp and maggot.

                      Four Islands is very narrow – I doubt if any island is further than 13 metres and on most pegs its considerably less!
