Who’s Going to Fishomania This Saturday??

  So is there anybody off here going on Saturday??
  Me, Piemon (comes on here sometimes), My daughter, plus 2 others are going up for a jolly.
  I have been to the last 2 events and if you have never been to a Fishomania event, believe me, you would well enjoy it!
  The major tackle companies are all there with tent displays, competitions on the surrounding lakes, and Cudmore sits in a really nice place of the country.
  FBlues is stuck in his glass fish bowl, Fordy’s on the camera and the layout has good views all around.
  Word of advise would be to take a chair and a pair of Binoculars makes the day even better in my mind, so who’s going??

  i can’t go ,nor watch it live on sky (fishing Tv is limited in our house as its apparently boring ,can’t see that myself),so i’ll be recording it too dvd again ,too watch later by myself & too add it too my complete collection of fish’o’finals .
  
  its fun though too watch them ,just for people spotting ,see who of Tf you can spot lurking in the background (probably half cut) as well as the great action on the lake

  Mmmmmmmmmmm, shame that mate. What do you reckon aerator on or off? Having seen it last year, i think it should be turned off.

  I’ll be there sitting right next who i hope will be the winner Ben Emery and i cant wait.The fishery is top draw and i think this final will be very interesting.

  And me Bacsey, i think the line up is solid this year with quality anglers, well the ones i read about and see in the angling returns.
  Anyway, the aerator, is it on or off????????????????????????????????????????????????

  We were told it would be off,but this would change if there was a oxegen problem.

  Cant go either would love to go, went a few years back at hayfield and it was brill. Which sky sports is it on as i will defo be taping it. Hope tommy pickering wins. pure class!!

  Nice one Bacsey, i think it is the right decision. Neil Machin fished next to the winner (not in the comp) last year which was directly in front of it and sacked up. It was deffo the diff on the day.

  Iwas there Saturday and the aerator was off , plenty of rain here on Monday and cool , no need for it to be on

  yeah its a good day out at cudmore,
  but, and im not just saying this because im from southyorkshire!!!
  it aint nowhwere near as good as it was when it was at hayfield,, every single aspect was better!!!
  only needed a bit of a rethink with the pegging and it would and should still be at hayfield!!!
  makes me laugh how people used to slag hayfield of because of the predictability of peg 16!!!!
  and yet we have people on here asking if the aerators are going to be on!!!!!!
  no where near as many turn out for the cudmore final either,, which is good in a way,, both for anglers and spectators!!!!
  but perhaps not so good for the cameras!
  i remember going to the fisho at hayfield one year and it absolutley sloshed it down!!!
  we went thinking it would be empty,,how wrong we where,,it was absolutley rammed!!!!
  but ill be at cudmore all the same!!!!

  Lloyd, i understand what you say and fair play, but mine was not a thread to compare the Hayfield venue to Cudmore – That is just detracting from who’s going on Saturday.
  As for the aerator – it was just a question that i did not know the answer to, so why not ask it?

  Normal perch for us, past the stage area, up the grass hill on the high bank.
  There will be a Ringer for Captain Birdseye in a wheel chair!! My daughter who’s going all cammoed up for some reason and i’m 6’5″ so you say hello if you see us!
