There just stupid rumours them, throwing fish in the river and burying them! Surely you don’t believe them mate?

I do know a few matches have been cancelled this week including the Uk Championships but thats all precautionary.

I heard it’s all down to low oxygen levels, tbh your best off ringing them and getting the definte answer from them but i wouldn’t believe rumours on forums or from other fisheries!

I fished Larford last Tuesday and Wednesday and MFS where on it on Thursday. Everything seemed ok to me with plenty of fish being caught. No dead fish. The fishery where just concerned about the lack of rain and low oxygen levels. While i was there. The fishery staff where talking openly about resting the lakes until the conditions improved.

              I concur with Trueblue.

MFS had a match on Match lake (shallow bank) and there were 3 tons and me 4th with 92.

There were no fish gasping at the time.

Arena was closed on that day to give it a rest and it seems they have done the same with all the fishery.

Well done Larford I say for looking after the welfare of the fish…….

Stuff like this does forums no favours at all. Surely rather than speculating on here it would be better to give larford a call? Everything negative posted seems to be just hear say, as in i was told, etc, etc.

Yep- and Steve is right- Rumours have no place, very damaging to a fisherues reputation and peoples livelehood.

Well I saw no dead fish last Thursday, the Bins smelled rank- but in this heat my black wheelie bin is no bed of roses either, and there are no dead fish in there.

You need to answer your PMs mate instead of rumourmongering and peddling third hand gossip!- weve been chasing you about your confirmation on Saturday~naughty

With the rain we have been having this week and what is predicted over the next few days the oxygen levels should improve and make life a little less stressfull to fishery owners

Right, I think we have established that there’s nothing wrong at Larford. I’m locking this thread.
