TF_Wheely Crap AnglerFISHERMANS PRAYER
I pray that I may live to fish
Until my dying day.
And when it comes to my last cast,
I then most humbly pray:
When in the Lord’s great landing net
And peacefully asleep
That in His mercy I be judged
Big enough to keep. -

Jeff was such a great man. Phoned him a few times and had a beer with him, Andy and Neil one time and they were all great guy’s but Jeff was the ‘Daddy’ and all his knowledge and experiance had been passed on to Neil and Andy.
I am so pleased I got to spend a little time with Jeff. My thoughts go to Andy and family and to Neil.

mickmirowskiDidn’t know Jeff very long, about 3 & 1/2 yrs but in that time I found him such a nice guy who would tell you anything you asked him or wanted to know about fishing (and drinking LOL)
Just wished I’d known him about 30 odd years ago, what a nice guy to talk to and I remember him saying to me about 2 yrs ago ‘you will have to sit with me one day and I will learn and show you’ as I’d only been fishing about 18mths then.
Sadly that day never came but maybe we will meet in heaven and talk fishing
Sorry to hear the bad news but we can’t suffer forever, you will be sadly missed, take care family, our thoughts are with you all
R.I.P Jeff x

TF_KarponiI am very sad to hear Jeff has passed away. I got to know Jeff at Border where he helped us out on many occasion and won me the odd match too with his advice.
I remember one match in particular in December where I was emptying peg 1 on meridian and ended up with 51lb, the next weight was 12lb. When Jeff came to weigh us in he asked for my autograph – always the joker and a true gentleman. My sincere condolences go out to Vanda, Andy and family.
