This week Keith’s guest will be former Olympic decathlete Dean Macey. Now a well respected specimen angler, Dean will be talking about his latest successes on the bank and will have plenty of advice to help you catch more, and bigger, fish.

There’s an opportunity to look back at the events of Fish’O’Mania XVII, held last Saturday at Cudmore Fisheries in Staffordshire. With 16 anglers competing for a winners-takes-all prize of £25,000, it was a tremendous match that produced a truly nailbiting finish.

You can see Keith in sea fishing action off the West Coast of Ireland. On a recent trip he spent some time afloat with Mary Gavin Hughes, the only female skipper in Europe and certainly one of the best, who put him on to some superb sport out of Westport.

Keith will also have useful information for all anglers in Fishery Focus. He’ll be putting the spotlight on some typical UK venues, detailing the most effective baits and tactics to use on those waters, and looking at the conditions you can expect to face this weekend.

Next week the focus is on carp fishing and Keith will be joined by Ian ‘Chilly’ Chillcott, one of the most popular and passionate anglers out there. They’ll be discussing his latest adventures and Chilly will be sharing tactical insights that should help you land a whacker.
