  Hes still fishing Mark , but no way near as much. He is really into his photography now , so when and if he wants to return to fishing his gears still there , but , He have a good break from it.

  Nige, Try and find a Silstar Traverse X 3587 320. Superb kit! Bends to the corks! Nice casting but about 40m max.
  
  EBay your best bet and they cost nothing: I’ve got two and I wouldn’t part with them for anything!
  
  Hillbilly used to use them too. Not sure if he still does.

  Yep still using them Mark. Mine are the 8′ 6″ versions and are now fitted with carbon tips. Awesome rods for up to 45 yard chucks.
