Daiwa Hallcroft Tournament League (Tuesday PM)
Bridge (18 pegs)
1 S Shepherd, Worksop, 91-3-0; peg isl 10
Steve Shepherd continued his good form from last week with another victory today. Steve fished paste over a bed of hemp at 11m on the pole to catch carp and bream in his winning net.
2 J Hobson, Sheffield, 70-12-0; peg out 17
Jack Hobson fished on catmeat over pellet on the pole at 10m to land carp and bream and just edge the close second spot.
3 R Teigh, Handsworth, 68-14-0; peg isl 24
Rich Teigh fished on meat and corn down the margins for most of the match to land carp to 6lbs in his third place net.
4 D Tomlinson, Bryden AC, 60-0-0; 5 T Caley, Mosborough, 55-3-0; 6 L Sears, Daiwa, 53-12-022.07.10
Daiwa Hallcroft Veterans Summer League (Thursday)
Moat (40 pegs)
1 M Cook, Retford, 83-2-0; peg outer 74
Mick Cook edged first spot in this latest veterans summer league match. Mick switched between fishing meat at 12m and paste at 6m on the pole and netted carp and some bream in his winning net.
2 D Mayo, Longeaton Victoria, 82-12-0; peg out 51
Relative newcomer to Hallcroft, Dave Mayo showed some clear talent as he claimed second spot amongst a strong field of experienced anglers. Dave fished the pole at 10m using pellet and corn to catch mainly carp.
3 D Slaymaker, MAP Ripley, 66-12-0; peg out 86
Don Slaymaker won the battle for third with a nice net mainly silverfish all taken on the pole using chopped worm and caster.
4 A Payling, Peg One, 64-5-0; 5 P Bagshaw, Maver Barnsley, 62-4-0; 6 J Simms, MAP Leegem, 61-4-023.07.10

Moat Island (24 pegs)
1 S Shepherd, Worksop, 126-0-0; peg 17
Winning certainly has become a habit for Steve Shepherd as he won today with another ton plus weight of carp. Steve fished the pole at 13m using paste over pellet and hemp.
2 T Caley, Mosborough, 88-15-0; peg 68
Tony Caley took second spot with a nice net of carp and skimmers caught at 12m on the pole using corn and pellet as baits.
3 P Bagshaw, Maver Barnsley, 80-4-0; peg 38
Pete Bagshaw fished corn and pellet on the pole at 10m and caught carp and skimmers well throughout the match, but was tempted to fish the margins in the last hour which didn’t produce for him.
4 G Gibson, Worksop, 76-15-0; 5 C Greenside, Sheffield, 63-4-0;24.07.10

Moat Island (25 pegs)
1 M McIntyre, Doncaster, 65-4-0; peg 49 (S Yorks)
Martin McIntyre was today’s winner in a match when weights were lower than anticipated. Martin landed mainly carp fishing on paste over ground bait at 6m on the pole.
2 D Whiting, Millview, 54-6-0; peg 73 (Cambs)
Dave Whiting took the close second place also fishing paste on the pole, but also caught some carp on catmeat at 10m.
3 S Robbins, MAP Leegem, 52-12-0; peg 17 (Notts)
Steve Robbins finished third with a nice mixed net of carp and skimmers caught at 6m using corn over pellet on the pole.

Daiwa Hallcroft Matchwinner Semi Final (Saturday)
Moat Outer/Reed (49 pegs)
1. J Oldfield, The Plough AC, 55-5-0; peg Out 104
John Oldfield landed mainly carp using paste over feed pellets on the pole at 11m to win this first semi final qualifier match in what proved a very close match.
2. G Ball, Feathers AC, 52-14-0; peg Out 6
Glyn Ball fished the margins with pellet and corn and landed carp to 4lbs in his second place net.
3. C Russell, Anglers Rest AC, 51-15-0; peg Out 86
Charlie Russell took third spot with some nice sized carp all taken on paste over hemp at 12m
4. Andy Cordall, Bryden AC, 50-11-0; 5. Graham Ball, Feathers AC, 47-11-0; 6.R Hunt, Bryden AC, 44-12-0;
The top 6 anglers all qualified for the final, which will be held on the 28th August, plus the following section winners:
