Airity sticky 6 & 7 ?

  Anyone else notice this when your breaking down twice 6 & 7 are very sticky on my pole, I thought I had some muck or something on mine I have cleaned it but its made no difference.

  Im known as the man with the stickiest hand shake in Wakefield !I have had the pole 2 years and i have only noticed it recently that could be something to do with not really breaking down on 6 & 7 while playing fish that often. The problem seems to have got worse I was wondering if I have got some tar on the no 6 female a lot of fisheries use old road planings around their paths and that dust combined with red hot weather something might have fused.

  I have a similar issue with my Power League extension. I’ve tried cleaning it with alcohol but it hasn’t worked. It’s not often I have to use it at 16m, so it doesn’t bother me too much, however, it’s noticably worse in hot weather.

  I have emailed Daiwa for advice on the matter, I was just wondering if other Airity owners had the same problems.

  when you work out whats making the sections stick, if i were you id contact daiwa and sell them the idea you will make a mint! lol

  anthony i had a prob with the 6 and 7 sticking on my spectron.
  the solution is to coat it using a clear shoe shine, the ones that are kind of triangle shaped. leaves a thin coating of silicon on the female joint that lasts the whole day.
