I posted on here sometime ago that I had just purchased the 2500 DL model and was looking forward to using it. I have now used the reel quite a lot and would urge anyone who fishes the feeder for carp to get one of these or the 4000DL which I know Carpmagic favours. If like me you are forever looking around or messing with other bits of kit they are a must. I would have lost my kit on at least half a dozen times had it not been for the bait runner being set. Bad angling perhaps but you can guarantee that the moment you take your hand off the rod it will fly round. I also, unlike a lot of match men like to play my fish off the drag and find that the clutch on these reels to be really smooth and sensitive and I have not lost one fish to a hook pull. Top bit of kit imho
