Alan Scothorne was here Monday using the new baitrunner, looked good so i bought one yesterday.
This is the first Baitrunner to have a front drag, and it is fantastic.
The clip isent perfect, but the reel itself is awesome, and not dear either.

The baitrunner DL FAs are amazing reels, had one for a couple of weeks and it’s been reaaly good, great drag, and the baitrunner is quite useful when making up feeders etc.

I’ve found both these Shimano reels superb, there is little in terms of size difference. I would recommend the XTE-A, slightly more expensive but worth the xtra.
