        Hi.Im thinking to buy a new hollow pole elastic.
        Its good the Drennan Carp hollow elastic?
        Is durable?

          yes the Drennan range is very good
          I have used the green, yellow & pink elastics over the years, and all have performed superbly

              I use this all the time and love it BUT is is very, very stretchy and it can sometimes feel like you don’t have fish under total control. Dodgy if you’re near snags too.

              If you have longer topkits it might be worth looking at not running the elastic the whole length of the kit – tie it off to some dacron or similar.

                I have a mate who uses the pink with a pull bung for carp of all sizes. His match results over the last 3 years with it has been second to none within our club, athough the elastic is only part of the story, of course.

                  I used the red Drennan elastic in Spain with no problems on the Castrejon Canal.

                  I use the pink and yellow for my carp fishing in England and have never had a problem.

                  Have a go and see if it suits you. With regards to the heat as suggested by lump then I think all elastic is affected to some degree or other.

                    Serious Sam,I like a stretchy hollow elastic.The elastic is for open water.No problem.
                    Lump,Daiwa Hidro is a fantastic elastic for carp,the better for me,but here in Spain is very expensive,20 pounds around.
                    Drennan Carp is a good elastic,Im sure,plus is cheap.It want to fish in Merida.

                      Another vote for drennan carp bungee hollow elastics, I’ve used the yellow and pink with great results, though as previously stated it is very stretchy. I like the maver hollow stuff too.

                          Hello.
                          Lump:Yes,I tried the Preston hollow elastic,they are fantastic.I like the 11h and 13h elastic,they are intermediates sizes with Hidro,but I would to try another hollow elastic.
                          I buy online in Banks and Burr and Benwick.They are very helpful.I love to buy in England.Your market is fantastic.
