Tunnel Barn Farm Fishery Weekly Report ending 1st August 2010

The warm weather has bought the fish up in the water and into the margins, with lots of 120lb+ weights being caught by match and pleasure anglers. Paste, corn, pellet and red maggot have been the best baits this week.

        Top Pool
Lots of carp showing to paste up in the water. Red maggot for silverfish.

        Bottom Pool
Some big 20lb carp have been caught late at night on corn in the margins. Red maggot or pellet has been the best for f1 carp and silverfish.

        House Pool
Paste in the margins is working well at the moment or corn for better carp. There are lots of fish at 8m up in the water on maggot.

        House 2/Extension Pool
Pellet in the margins and out in front for carp, bream and tench. Maggot for all other fish.

        New Pool
F1 carp on all pegs at 4-6m. Pellet or paste have been the best baits. Lots of bream, tench and roach in the margins to corn or maggot.

        Canal Pool
Red maggot for carp, bream, tench, perch, roach, rudd and barbel at 4m & 10m fished up in the water.

        Club Pool
Pellet or paste in the margins for bream, barbel and tench. Corn at 6m for f1 & f2 carp and roach up in the water.
