method set up??

        Hi,just started fishing the method in matches, i know how to do the knotless hairig but unsure of the best way to attach the feeder to the main line or the hooklength.
        Im also unsure weather to use 0.18 gline or 5lb maxima for the hooklength??

          Most places now require you to use free running rig. All i do is thread a method feeder onto line then tie a korum quick change bead onto main line then you can atttach hook lenths with ease. If unsure of what they are just google or ask local tackle shop. As for hook lenths 0.18 should be fine it all depends on how big fish are if there really big try heavier or if smaller you could scale down to 0.14- 016 hope this helps

            thanks for the reply guys,I can now set up a rod and some hooklengths for the weekend 🙂
            can u tell me the advantages/disadvantages of inline or elasticated feeders?

              Some people think that when fishing an inline it sometimes goes up the line and comes down bumping the fish off i personnaly havent had any problems and allways use in line if rig does get snagged feeder comes off so friendlier on the fish. Elasticated are more like a bolt rig. Again i havent had any concerns with in line bites are always rap rounds but like i said most places insist on inline so i use them every time.
