  We have came up with a format that would ensure that the winner of one of our 100 peg matches would win at least Â£1000 and then be eligible to fish a future match for Â£5000, without any further outlay, along with the winners of each ten peg section.
  
  All this for an entrance of only Â£40: The is less than the equivalent of the Â£10 entry that we were all paying way back in the ’70’s and ’80’s!
  
  We believe we have the right competition structure that enables the best anglers the highest chance of qualifying for the big money matches whilst still being affordable for club anglers willing to test their skills against the very best in our sport.
  
  However, we don’t want to stop there! We are using this as an template with a view to running an even bigger match along similar lines with a Hyper Car Leasing Hyper Final where anglers are fishing for a Â£100,000 first prize!
  
  Your thoughts gentlemen?~think
  
  Could we get one up for THIS Saturday and how many would do a mid weeker?
  
  PROPER rewards for proper fishing. I have got some requirements from competitors and that as I plan to use video and photography for each match it would help if people looked as professional as possible ( the Pot calls the Kettle ‘black’ in my case! Pmsl!).
  
  If I could secure Barston, it certainly appears to be the on form venue at the moment and certainly has by far the best facilities and central location to make it convenient.

  Good luck sounds a superb idea. Just as an add on have you ever thought of collaborating with Steve Locket V2V or even the big boys to televise / produce a DVD for such events?

  To give you time to get some sort of attendance maybe you would be better waiting till the final sat. The good thing about Barston is its central and currently fishing its head off.

  Evesham Festival on the B/H weekend…. That may have an impact unless I could get some firm commitment.

  NWCA: My thoughts on fishing is that we need to get the rewards for fishing back up to where they were when I first started. I won a grand equivalent when I was 13! 100-120 pegger sell outs were the norm though.
  
  I need to publicise to fit it with my remit hence the photo and video but tbh I just want to get fishing back to where it was. Justifying to the other half why you do it if the fishing pays for a holiday or extension (on the house not the pole! lol). Currently it rarely pays for the outlay.
  
  I know some friends have said that it’s a hobby not a sport (and they are competing at top level!) but it should be so much more than that!
  
  Why take between Â£8-Â£15k’s worth of kit to win Â£150? If it was a business you’d be bankrupt within months!

  Personally I want the promotion of the company to come as a biproduct of running professional standard matches.
  
  To be fair, two of the senior partners were down at Barston on Sunday and were impressed by what they saw. Also the amount of commercial vehicles that us lot use also had them salivating! lol They know that they could probably provide these vehicles at a more competitive rate than other suppliers!
  
  Back to the fishing and this is the real difference….
  
  Long have I been against the default section and there will NOT be one in these matches. You pay your money and fish to win: If you win they you win your section, it’s as simple as that. There won’t be a massive charitable spread of money as that isn’t the philosophy behind it.
  
  If you are good enough then you will take home proper money that will justify your outlay, dedication and preparation and more importantly your skill and experience!
