Moat Island (25 pegs)
1 D Whiting, Buttonhole AC, 153-2-0; peg 56
Dave Whiting on peg 56 stormed to victory with a magnificent net of carp and bream taken on the pole at 8m using catmeat over pellet and hemp
2 N Shipman, Hallcroft, 76-3-0; peg 2
Nigel Shipman took the close second place with a net of carp caught using long pole, meat and corn
3 K Pacey, Gainsborough,73-6-0; peg 59
Ken Pacey finished third with carp and skimmers caught at 12m using small bits of paste over pellet and hemp
4 J Masson, Maver Sensas, 69-6-0; 5 D Oldham, Daiwa Hallcroft, 55-8-005.08.10

Moat (42 pegs)
1 P Bagshaw, Maver Barnsley, 67-10-0; peg island 6
Another good turnout in today’s veterans saw Pete Bagshaw just edge first spot. Pete fished pole, corn and pellet at 6m for a mixed net
2 D Slaymaker, MAP Ripley, 63-3-0; peg island 14
Second placed Don Slaymaker dropped worm and caster to net a fine bag of fish
3 R Brooks, Sheffield, 59-2-0; peg island 26
Ron Brooks fished meat and corn at 7m over hemp and just edged third overall with some nice carp
4 A Sellars, Bankside Tackle, 58-10-0; 5 J Hobson, Sheffield, 56-0-0 6 D Clegg, Britannia, 51-10-006.08.10

Moat Island (22 pegs)
1 S Parker, Daiwa Hallcroft, 111-15-0; peg 53
With only his second ever ton plus weight, Shaun Parker steered himself to victory fishing the bomb with meat over loose fed pellet to the middle of Moat catching mainly carp to 10lb
2 J Masson, Maver Sensas, 98-5-0; peg 5
Second was Jamie Masson who fished pole, corn and paste over pellet at 12m for carp and skimmers
3 R Teigh, Handsworth, 93-15-0; peg 64
Not far behind was Rich Teigh who also had a nice net of carp and silvers caught using expander pellet, catmeat and corn as alternative baits

Moat Island (26 pegs)
1 L Coupe, MAP Leegem, 121-5-0; peg 40 (Derbys)
Lee Coupe fished the pole at 12m using soft paste over a bed of hemp and pellets to catch a nice ton plus net of carp and victory today.
2 P Lancaster, Maltby, 86-12-0; peg 2 (S Yorks)
Paul Lancaster fished corn and pellets to the margins and landed over 20 carp plus the odd skimmer in his second place net.
3 S Robbins, MAP Leegem, 73-14-0; peg 5 (Notts)
S Robbins fished on a short pole line with corn and expander pellets to catch a nice mixed bag of fish for third spot.

A bizarre match which saw carp cruising around, not interested in feeding, on Moat but on Reed it was a different case as Lee Coupe netted his second ton plus winning weight of the weekend. Lee’s paste attack on the long pole once again proved the method to beat

Paul McIntyre tookthe second close spot with the help of some decent sized carp caught on worm from the margins
3 G Gibson, Worksop, 73-13-0; peg Reed 31 (Notts)
Gordon Gibson finished third with carp and skimmers taken on pole and paste at 11m
4 J Thomas, Peg One, 48-15-0; (Notts) 5 S Clarke, Mansfield Sensas, 45-6-0; (Notts) S Marshall, MAP Leegem, 40-4-0; (Derbys)
