Tunnel Barn Farm Weekly Report ending 8th August 2010

All pools are fishing well with 100lb+ for pleasure and match anglers. White maggot, pellet, corn and paste have been the best baits this week, fishing 2m from the edge for some big weights.

        Top Pool
The bowl has been the best for carp on paste or pellet. Lots of roach, bream and tench to white maggot.

        Bottom Pool
Corn or bread in the margins have been the best baits for big carp. 4 were weighed on Monday for a total of 60lb. Lots of f1 carp and silverfish to pellet or maggot.

        House Pool
9m and the margins have been good for carp, bream, perch and tench on pellet or maggot. Pole feeder against the island has also been working well.

        House 2/Extension Pool
The fish have been in the margins with paste being the best for bream and tench. Fishing at 6m with pellet has been the best for f1 carp and silverfish.

        New Pool
Bream, roach, perch, chub, f1 carp and tench are both in the margins and at 7.5m with pellet or maggot.

        Canal Pool

White maggot dominates this pool with common carp, f1 & f2 carp, bream, tench, barbel, roach, golden rudd and perch, fished at 6-8m and in the margins, with corn as a back up.

        Club Pool
Pellet or paste has been the best bait fished at 4m – 6m or in the margins for f1 & f2 carp, barbel and all silverfish.
