TF_MICK THE BOOKIE~think ~think After watching the game against Hungary,i asked myself this question.
If the squad that was chosen would be a side in the premiership….HOW WOULD THEY FARE?.
My own opinion is they would finish around Tenth place. What are your thoughts on the state of our current English players conpaired to other World teams? ~think ~think ~think -

TF_DATI tend to think that we over state how good the best English players are. When we talk about our best England team we talk about Rooney,Terry,Stevie G and use phrases like”would run through a brick wall”,”type a bloke that you would want with you in the trenches”.What we need is players who can pass around a(Algerian) brick wall quickly and accurate.Or curl a ball around that brick wall.
Our good players look good when playing with foreign players who are superior in skill, also the prices of English players seems out of kilter with the real world. £30m for Millner.£20m for Carlton Cole and the same for Scotty Parker someones having a laugh.
Of course in the end cappelo will get the blame and we can look for an English manager, maybe the bloke who won the Dutch title with f.c.twente would do a good job. -

TF_dirkdigglershould have picked non of the shower who played in the world cup.
i can’t believe anyone payed good money to go and watch them.
see the next euro championships france who failed miserably will rebuild from the ground up and come back really strongly and the same with italy.
we however will blame goalline technology or the ball was to light or the fact we have’nt got enough money to sack our own manager, and pitch up with mostly the same overpaid rubbish as before.
people need to wake up and stop going to football as we’re rubbish at it.
maybe spend your money on something we are good at er fishing perhaps ~think

TF_GarySpurs finished 4th in the Prem last year with a squad predominently composed of fringe England players (Defoe, Crouch, Dawson, Bentley, Huddlestone, Jenas, Bentley, Woodgate, Lennon) [and a few token foreigners (Kranjcar, Modric, Bassong, Assou-Ekotto, Pavlychenko)]. That should give you a clue.

TF_DodgeRooney needs to be left out of the England team it just isnt working out with him playing. Maybe he is trying too hard while so out of form but he looks a shadow of the player he was 6 months ago !
Everyone blames Capello and a lot of it is justifiable but the English FA are a shambles , a disgrace !!! The FA needs a shake up from top to bottom and quickly !

~clap ~clap ~clap..Thats a fair comment Garry, and as i am an Arsenal fan,it does stick in my claw to admit you have a point there mate. However(as there always is from a gooner),i think realisticly you should have finished in 6th place, just as Arsenal should heve finished in 5th..hehe.
And dont forget you have a great “Man Manager” in Old Harry, who should be the England boss by a mile, but because of his dodgy past and the F.A farts will never ever be chosen.
BUT ALL IN ALL YOUR POINT WAS JUSTIFIED.Where will you finish this season?…7th? ~think ~think ~think.I am assuming of course that you are a “YIDDO”..LOL.

TF_GaryI am not a Spurs fan! I just thought that it was a point worth making before everyone goes off on one about England having crap players again. Excluding Rob Green, all of England’s players at the World Cup currently or previously play(ed) for either the ‘Big 4’, Tottenham or Aston Villa. As such, I think it is wide of the mark to suggest that players of that quality would be relegation fodder.

TF_bremesParticipantI will probably be shot down in flames, but i think cappello is now deliberately “angling” for the sack & the £12mill that follows, his handling of the beckham “retirement” was appalling, not forgetting his non appearance at the under 19s tourny, imo he no longer wants the job,the FA & players dont want him either but the huge payoff is preventing the situation being resolved, just pay him off put him on a plane~clap ~clap ~clap

TF_CraftytaftyTo be honest Jeff i agree he’s looking for the sack and a big pay off, but I don’t blame him. It’s not his fault the england players are useless, but memories are short. Gerrard scores twice against a mickey mouse team who are below Scotland in the rankings and suddenly he’s world class again. Never in a million years, trouble is they are the best we’ve got, which isn’t much to shout home about, they just look good against the sh*te outside the top 6 of the prem.
As for Beckham, the mardy s*d wants to get a life. If that’s the worse that happens to him, he wont be so bad off. He’s been lucky to have a long career and play so many games for England. There’s lots of footballers a lot worse off, like the young player that just lost his life to Cancer.I’m sick of this circus and all these tossers that don’t know how lucky they are.
Now we hear that City are going to offer Ibrahimovic 500 grand a week. stupid, it needs to stop cos it’ll all go pear shaped.Rant over. Looking forward to a weekends fishing!!!!
