Not sure how the Medley one went but ours at Child Beale was a match of 6 pegs and then one for the rest.

74-1-0 won it. 11 Bream, biggest 2 went 16-8-0. all caught despite having problems landing his feeder within 3 days camel march of any previous cast due to using too soft a rod for the range involved.

28lb (5 Bream) 2nd, Darty stole 2nd from me with a 5lb Bream hooked in the last minute. Sadly my 5 minutes of barracking whilst he played it went to waste. He caught his using a tiny feeder on a float rod as he’d forgotten his feeder rod (on the Thames!).

I was 3rd with 24lb (4 Bream) then there were a couple of 16-18s (3 Bream). The whole of the six pegs was like seaworld this morning with Bream and Carp rolling everywhere, someone will hit the jackpot there shortly. For the rest, the match was pretty dire, couple of big Tench caught and best of the weights was a very hard worked for 5-10-0 of very small Roach. I hope the better Roach start showing shortly just to give a days fishing to those not on the Bream.
