hi fisher, little gearys is about 20 metres wide 5-6ft deep in most places with a central island in the middle. My advice would be to fish a method at the island, cast as close as possible thats essential. use pellet and groundbait mix and change hookbaits but keep them small. Lots of small f1s and the odd better carp on that line. Set up some shallow and bottom rigs with pellet on the pole and a margin rig with either pellet or paste.

Target weights would be around 40-50lb. Fish it regularly all year (fished wed).

Any more than 20 on the pool and it can be a struggle. try avoid peg 3(the one i drew on wed) and you should be fine!

Fine, except the method isn’t allowed on ;itt;e geary’s ?????

Unless they have lifted this particular ban now the fish are a bit more grown on, not too sure but i would ask first

Method is definately allowed!

From memory, rules were changed couple of years ago to allow it again.
