        Just had a phone call informing me that the black mirror and big common from the Mere have been found dead. All over face book. Anyone know anything as I’m not in facebook. Thanks

          Reportedly every fish in the lake is dead, including some huge eels and tench (both supposedly close to / over record size) as well as all the carp. Some kind of poisoning is suspected.
          A real shame, Dave Lane’s book on the place and his eventual capture of the Black Mirror after years of trying was great reading.
