        chance off buyiing one the number 3 tip is missing he has the one and two does anyone no what the tips are rated at and how much would a no3 be tried rining preston no help see dealer

            Tarka,
            I have one, few years old now. The tips are 1oz, 2oz glass and 3oz carbon. Light/Medium/heavy depending on when bought. I have original carbonactive 12′ too and they are interchangeable.

              The Drennan tips fit them (and are better imho as the Preston ones have a really fast taper) you get the choice of fast or long taper and are about £12-15 I think from most retailers.

                I have the 12ft 6″ Model and if it’s the same as mine it will come with three COMPLETE TOPS and not tips as some have stated.

                Not sure what the price would be for the 3oz one, give Preston a call.
