Simple, bigger baits for bigger fish is a rule i have never forgot and it certainly works for me!! Also casters have a knack of attracting bigger bream, but they sometimes take a while to turn up.

Play about with worm baits, sometimes a worm nipped in half and hooked through the cut ends works, sometimes two small segments of worm works. I’ve been trying it at Woodland waters nr Ancaster and the bites from the better fish can be proper picky too.
Ive tried fishing a sweet g.bait and found it to be worse than a fishmeal so that plan failed lol
Carp will come to an area of feeding fish and if they don’t have there usual offerings usually go elsewhere. Try dead maggots, chopped worm as loosefeed, baits that bream like n carp don’t get too excited about. Not found a method that stands out myself yet.
