I am starting to use hooklengths again and wondered what soem of you do to join the main line to the hook length. in the past i have always used a water knot but am now for convenience sakes probably going to use a loop to loop connection . interested in how others have got on with this?

get yourself a preston loop tyer, they come in packs of two big yellow things with a shark hook remover on the other end. they give a small, same size loop everytime. feed the loop off the hooklenght over (NOT through) the loop on the mainline. then feed the hook through the loop on the mainline and pull it through make sure the loops are joined together and one is not stuck on the knot of the other

                  and hooks to nylon
love the short drennan wide gape pellet
call me lazy but the person who tied your packet of hooks
to nylon ties hooks all day
theyve got to be half decent !!
