Peter…Just checked with Andy(dingdong)and he confirmed that he fished it the Car park end.He said that that most pegs were taken, and there was a group of match anglers(10ish)who caught steadily throughout the day.Andy himself caught good Roach and 2 Chub(1 lb+)on the wag,and had around 20lb of fish.~clap ~clap ~clap

TF_MICK THE BOOKIELawrence(LolB)……Many thanks for your input fella.Yes we are scurrying around to try and arrange a match on the Lahelam section this Sunday the 12th of September.I have about 10 names already, but if your club Oakwood Angling is also having one,i was wondering if a)there will be enough open pegs?(Bivvy boys),and b)Would it be possible if we could link up with your lot?If you could liase with Oakwood and confirm their position on these questions asap i would be grateful. We havent got much time left so i await your reply. Many thanks…..MTB.~clap ~clap ~clap ~think ~think ~think ~think

That stretch is known for it, the locks get in sync so you have Penton emptying as Chertsey is filling hence running like a train one minute and stock still five minutes later on and off at 10-15 minute intervals. It’s why you have to be careful with your loose feeding particularly on the shallower ones up the top ~shh
