Several fishing and wildlife organisations are pulling together to promote a new Our Rivers campaign aimed at highlighting the best and worst rivers in the country.

I’ve done the survey (mine is the Teme) and it takes only about to minutes flat.

you have a chance to explain why you love/hate the river so much – just go to….

worest state river is our beloved river wreake its more of a stream now-er days a river that boasted 300 pegs in its day a river that anglers from all over the country used to fish for its specimens chub, barbel and the famous 2lb roach
with no tree management willows now fallen across large parts of the river becoming litter collectors weed grows wild and back side vegetation hides good parts of the river now.and the same is happening to the river soar river management is NIL local help is NIL it begs belief when they can’t understand why the country is flooding more and more i can’t remember the last time i saw any work on the non navigable parts of the river British waterways cut the grass where boats are concerned
