Keith will be joined by Peter Gathercole, a game angler, fly dresser and photographer of high repute. They’ll be discussing all aspects of the sport, in particular the application and construction of various fly patterns, and will have plenty of advice to help you improve your results.

You can see Keith out on the bank at Avington Trout Fishery in Hampshire where he takes some guidance on the art of stalking from Peter Cockwill, one of the tactic’s finest exponents. With a little help from his friend, Keith certainly gets by!

There’s also a chance to see action from last weekend’s Lower Thames Championship. After its resurgence 3 years ago the event has become a key date on the calendar for many river match anglers, despite the unpredictable nature of the fishing.

Keith will also be taking his weekly look at the sport available for anglers of all disciplines around the UK. In Fishery Focus there’ll be valuable information on the conditions you’ll face and the most effective methods and baits to use at some typical venues.

Match fishing takes centre stage on Tight Lines next week when Keith’s guest will be England International Will Raison. As well as discussing the recent, and very successful, European Championships, the former World Champion is sure to have some great tips for all budding matchmen.
