If its on the big lake, i would go ringerssinges red and ringers dark mixed together with micro’s in the mix, alternate hookbaits, 8mm pellet, maggot and 10mm tiger nut boilies, you will need to get some bait out so clip up and chuck about 10 feeder fulls out, keep topping up every half an hour, thats for the bream, for the carp you need to be as near to the island as poss, 2ft off is ok, not sure what side you have but the far side is a very long chuck, 13ft rod 2 to 3oz lead or heavy method feeder, peg 19 is a flyer for carp, the rest is pretty much the same, they dont always, but if the bream come in, 13m chuck in 10 big balls of groundbait see if it fizzes then go over it with corn maggot or a banker punched bread on the hook, good luck.

thanks maker is it 50/50 carp bream then and it sounds as they will take some bait, do you have to chuck far in the open water ? and is it a predominantly feeder jobbie .

its more bream, the bivvy boys go for the carp, they are lumps, if you snare the odd carp you have a very good chance of winning it, if you are the long chuck to the island i would chuck about half way, be as accurate as you can with your feeder, chuck three quarters the other side, you will get bouts of bream then nothing, top up leave it for a bit and go for the carp at the island, yes its mainly feeder, take your pole in case you are in the bay, havent got much of a chuck there and its tough, bit bashing.

Long chucks then, you really really dont want the bay, peg 20 to 24 i think.
