TF_Chris-turnerParticipantIt’s just a little water up near me it’s got plenty of silvers and a lot of carp and just wondered how to attack it

TF_Smedlittle or no feed, winter usually means clear water so light lines and light elastics are a must
it may take u a while to get em in but every one counts! presentation is key so light floats in calm still conditions but if its blowing a bit dont be afraid to put a heavy rig on and lay it on if it means keeping the bait still!
visual baits usually score better ie corn, light pellets or bread..
also dont be afraid to fish up in the water still!! a lot of ppl think the fish will be deep cos its cold but they couldnt be further from the truth!! ive had some real days fishing bread 12 inch deep! -

TF_AnthonywatersParticipantTheres not much to know mate if you make sure your rigs are tidy well dotted down, dont feed much and draw well thats the hardest bit drawing on em your 99% of the way there. Some will disagree with this but i strike at every indication every time that float dips I strike I dont believe in lifting at them in winter you may not see them again.

TF_Chris-turnerParticipantwhat laccys u usuing was wondering would a doubled 8 be ok ????????????????????????or is it too heavy.

TF_AnthonywatersParticipantDoubled 8 maybe too much for the F1s in there and the silvers, I like that green Drennan 6-8 with a pullakit or white hydro from what Ive seen last few matches though the carp are getting considerably bigger lots of 6lbers now.
