AGain not fished it since may. Depth will depend on how much water the farmer has had out to irrigate his crops, it can be low this time of year. On a whole, at average depths, it’s about 3 and a bit meters deep at 10-11m.
There’s a number of ways to fish it, feeder can pick up fish but on a whole doesn’t work as well as the pole and waggler. Wagg and mag or pellet shallow can work for the chub.
Cat meat used to work for tench in the margins, not sure if it still does. Corn picks up fish, I tend to fish corn and hem,p close in. Then expander over softened miscros is my favorite at 8-9m for bream, tench and odd chub.
I only fish up till may though.
If you set your stall out, and got them in and feeder, i reckon you could do a very big bag of rudd too….the place is stuffed full of them so make sure you have a good few pints of maggots in case it’s hard for the better fish. Expenct crucians to turn up close to the reeds too.
As for what it looks like, it’s a square pool, two aireators towards the middle, about 20 odd pegs around (these are good solid pegs). All pegs are cut into the reeds, which are pretty dense…how far out they go will depend on water depth as this dictates how far from the pank the platform will be.
