ALDERS FARM SILVER FISH LAKE?

  morning all going on the silver fish lake at alders farm just wondered what pegs and what bait to take? have fished the matchlake and fancied a change any help would be great cheers all ps got worm,caster,corn and a few maggots along with some groundbait

  Keeep it really simple, one line at 13m shallow, one at 6m and then down the edges.
  
  Id feed 4mm’s long up in the water with a banded 6mm.
  
  The 6m line and edges id feed corn and pellet.

  cheers mike for that but wanted to go for the skimmers and barbel mainly.were going on the matchlake in the morning then onto the silver lake in the afternoon for some silver bashing.just hope thorpe reads tthis and drops my some info

  hi mate the trouble with the silver lake is that its also full of carp i would sit on pegs 5 6 or 7 and fish 4mm expander over 4mm sinkers or grounbait for the skimmers and bream also kinder or pot the bait in as throwing it in by hand will attract the carp quicker fish lines of 016 and above as some of the carp go 20lb fish the expander at 5 or 6mts where its about 6ft deep at 13 mts it prob 10ft so wouldnt bother unless you want to catch carp shallow also feed a corn line at 3mts as when pleasuring you can do 150lb plus of tench to 6lb of this line one things for sure mate you will have plenty of bites and fish
