        anyone got any reccomended canal floats
        think ive only got drennan maggot floats that are any good for canals!

          Fox MP 6s , Colmic Jollys , Tubertini Styx have just about everything covered from squatty fishing to bread , maggot and caster in sizes 2 x 10s to 4 x 12s on canals up to 5 ft deep. Larger canals like the stainy you will need larger floats like Trabucco Ultimate 1s , Sensas Jean Francois or the long pencil type style floats from 0.16 to a 1grm.

            Fox MP6 as said above are top floats for squatt, Sensas Auchy or Garbo DS9 for bread punch.

                  The KC canal model works for me. The 0.12 Version gets set up on every canal I fish from flowing ones were it may be the lightest float I set up to still ones were it may be the biggest.
