if it must be goretex and lightweight and a 3/4 jacket then you need to look at GO Outdoors or similar supplier. Berghaus, North Face, Columbia, Helly Hansen etc. These will all be cheaper than going for Halkon Hunt. Don’t bother with the ‘bargains on E-bay’ most are not upto snuff. However, if you are not a fashion follower then look at ex-navy goretex or RAF jackets and overtrousers, these can be bargains but may not have hoods.

If you are so sure it has to be goretex then you won’t look at Protak which would be a mistake.
