          coloboro,

suggest you contact dave self (selfey) as he has written about this lake and the methods fairly frequently.
expect you will be on the match lake where all methods will work on the day, feeder, method feeder, waqggler and pole (long and short.)
you will need pellets, meat, corn, maggots and worms.
i no longer match fish but on pleasure days with mickey hills we get good returns from a variety of pegs.
          hot pegs include 4, 6, 7, 10, 15, 18, 19 and 20.
john metcalfe the owner will put you right if you ring the fishery on 01794884803 or 07889314929
          good cafeteria for breakfasts………
          good luck.

there were three weights over the ton, won from peg 7 with 129, peg 12 with 109 and peg 18 with 103 if my memory is correct.
everyone caught well except for one angler who spat the dummy and left early…..
all top three anglers are Cormorants AC anglers -Andy Hayden, Mark Canning and Dwayne Seed. Believe Andy and Mark were mainly on the pole and Dwayne on the feeder.
                  cheers,
                  cormorant.

                    Hello.
I fished here Wed 6 Oct after a lot of overnight rain,i drew peg 2 and was told by a regular to fish in the margins to my right. Weighed in 21lb of carp, it was very slow,70+lb won on the day.
