just spoke to my local tackle dealer, a new airity x pole on the way, new airity x rods, no cork on them? They replace the tourny pro rods, will put a smile on the tackle tarts face, out early 2011.

The Airity has had the Diamond satin finish applied to it for 2011 which is the only change to it, and the Tourny pro rods haven’t been relaced, they are still in the 2011 catalogue.

The new Certate reel looks interesting. Has the ‘Magnetic fluid’ system in it developed by NASA. £450 retail though for the 3000.

Also a new set of ‘Yank and bank’ match and ledger rods being released.

seen the arity rods, not that impressed compared to the tourny pro rods, don’t like what looks like a £2.99 reel seat and the loss of comfort from a cork handle

£2000 for a pole? There’s supposed to be a recession on. imagine breaking a section or throwing 50cm or so away to stick a piece of white plastic in the end of it!!!!! ~sick

But the difference in performance between a £50 reel and a £450 reel is a lot less than the difference betweem a £250 pole and a £2000 pole DW

Or you could buy 4.5 TDR’s or 2.5 TDX’s. I know where my money would be going,

IMO at 13m a lot of cheaper poles would give a top end one a run for it’s money,
