Good entertainment Dave, though I don’t think anyone really seriously believes these plebs are the cream of the crop. They are picked more for potential gaff value than intellect in my view

On a different note, I thought that Dan (who got the bullet) was a damn site more magnanamous on ‘You’ve been fired’ and on Breakfast TV than last nights show.

I did used to do a fair bit of work for TV and editing can make an arse out of the most careful of people: It is an entertainment program afterall.

My mate got through to the final selection round last year (final 20 people) and would have been brilliant, but they didn’t pick him unfortunately. They definitely pick people who will be good on TV rather than people who are genuinely talented (although some are both).
