        The flat conditions never are conducive to feeding fish on Moat, but Paul Hatton managed to get some fish feeding using paste on the pole at 12m to catch carp and bream for the win in today’s veterans match.
        2 D Speight, Sheffield, 42-7-0; peg 104
        Dave Speight took second spot fishing on the pole using corn with the help of some carp caught late on.
        3 J Bailey, Leigh Tackle & Bait, 29-10-0; peg 15
        John Bailey fished chopped worm and caster on the pole at 11m and caught some decent carp and the odd skimmer bream which were enough for third.

        A turn around in conditions brought about some feeding carp today as Dave Whiting came out the winner with 89-12-0 of carp and skimmers taken on both feeder and pellet and also pole with worm over pellet and hemp at 11m
        2 D Dare, Mansfield, 85-8-0; peg 5
        Dave Dare was a close second with mostly small carp caught on pole and corn over pellet from the margins.
        3 A Cordall, Bryden, 78-0-0; peg 60
        From the other side of moat, Andy Cordall fished corn over pellet to land carp and bream to take third spot.

        Andy Sellars fished the pole at 8m using meat and corn over feed pellets to win today’s close open match with mainly carp up to 8lbs.

        Daz Oldham fished the long pole at 13m using 6mm expander pellet over 4mm feed pellets to edge the close second spot
        3 P Bagshaw, Maver Barnsley, 59-2-0; peg 9
        Pete Bagshaw’s third place net comprised of a mixed bag including carp and slivers caught on chopped worm and caster at 10m

        Wayne Lomas continued his good form this weekend with victory today using pole and corn over feed pellets to land carp and bream.
        2 I Temple, Retford, 53-8-0; peg Out 105
        Experienced local angler Ian Temple fished the pole at 11m using expander pellet over hemp and pellets to finish second overall with some decent carp and skimmers.
        3 G Mumby, Triana North, 49-12-0; peg Isl 21
        Gary Mumby edged the close third spot with a nice mixed net of fish caught at 10m using chopped worms and caster
        4 D Clegg, Britannia, 48-8-0; 5 J Skipper, Gainsborough, 44-14-0; 6 B Sullivan, Goldthorpe, 44-6-0
