Steve Shepherd at peg 25 was a close second with a good mixed bag of carp and skimmers taken on pellet and corn

Dave Boswell’s recent good form continued today with another victory. Dave fished meat on the bomb to the middle of Bridge and landed carp and bream in his winning net.

2 S Robbins, MAP Leegem, 45-6-0; peg out 41 & W Lomas, MAP Leegem, 45-6-0; peg out 37

Second place saw a tie as both Steve Robbins and Wayne Lomas netted exactly the same weight. Steve caught carp and bream on 6mm expander pellets over feed pellet at 6m and Wayne fished corn over feed pellet at 12m on the pole

John Powell fished the long pole down the margins using corn and pellet to land carp and silvers to edge a close victory in today’s open.

Luke Sears switched between a waggler with maggot and the long pole and expander pellet to land carp and skimmers for second spot.

3 G Gibson, Worksop, 44-2-0; peg out 96

Gordon Gibson was third with a net of carp taken from the middle of Moat using a bomb with hair-rigged meat.
